Today i am in a sharing mood – Positivity

Hi Guys!!

Just a short one that i thought i would share with you while i’m sitting having an ‘office day’ getting blog stuff done… today i am all about Positive vibes!

As i have mentioned before, since i started writing this blog, my anxiety levels have hit an all time low, now for any ‘normal’ (what is normal??) person that’s still pretty high, but for me they are manageable, and i am happy to take that as a win!

 I love this quote…. and i love that i am finally seeing a tiny bit of that person i want to become shining through!! 

 

 

 

But i have been consciously concentrating on being more positive, the idea around positivity and certain skills that can be used to life your mood, i think because i have been tackling the issue head on and doing this research has helped me so much more than i ever did when i was trying to ‘fix myself’ which only made me feel worse about myself when i wasn’t able to!

I read this article earlier and i wanted to share it with you guys, its pretty simple but i love the idea of just trying to shift your thoughts from positive to negative, and let your mind do the rest.

Anyway, give it a read, it certainly has given me food for thought and i hope it does the same for you!

      1. Yes definitely. I feel like I start and end my day with positive thoughts, which must be doing me some good. Add in meditating every morning and I do feel like I’m getting better mentally. Generally I’m trying to be more mindful, stopping myself grasshoppering through thoughts that have yet to happen or dwelling on things that already have, finding things to be thankful for anchors you to the here and now. That’s my current thoughts anyhow!!

        It’s hard though isn’t especially when you have to force yourself to do it! being mindful for me has been so much harder than it first sounded!!

      3. Yeah. But recognising that you live in either the past or the future is great self-awareness and the more you mentally keep bringing yourself back to the present, to being mindful, the easier it will get…. Or so I’m lead to believe 😂
